Good paddle, excellent touch but questionable surface firmness.

Very good spatula. It has a large sweet spot and adds a pleasant touch to the kitchen. We only used it for an hour, practicing tight, mostly soft shots. One star off because the surface is a bit worn and loses a small amount of paint for about an hour after 3 days of bumping. I like the performance of the paddle itself but I have a feeling the finish will not hold up. At the moment it's only very small stains of color, but after an hour of washing it should be gone. Bought another one in orange

Replace the handle then it's great!

I don't know why Onix decided to make the grip cheaper, but just spend another $5 or $6 on Gamma grip tape because the grip looked and felt like "sprayed" paint. Other than that, the Z5 Graphite is an AMAZING pickleball paddle. Light, agile, wide body, huge sweet spot, great touch. I've been playing with a 9+ oz Wilson ax for 2.5 years, smooth and hard. Z5 Graphite is like a surgeon's scalpel to me. My net play is up 5 steps, volley up 3, baseline up 1 and spin control up 3. I'm very happy! By…

Are you new to Pickle Ball and looking to buy your first racquet?

You've been playing for weeks and you've had enough of that wood (nerd!) on that first $30-40 racquet you bought at Dick's Sporting Goods or Revain.com. This is a great first "real" racquet to further explore the game. Do you really need to buy a $150 paddle and I'll tell the difference? Well, yeah, you know, and you're not going to do it now, but you will. I was on this boat too and decided I couldn't justify spending $150 on a paddle and bought this one instead. I could choose any color I…
