Failed after one use

Failed after one use in salt water. See Wire Rust and Corrosion section. I had to drive home without requesting a headlight replacement.

Died in the water for the first time!

Beautiful appearance, has everything you need. When I first got in the water the headlights went out, luckily the brake and signal lights worked but I had to drive home at night with no trailer lights.

The lights worked as they should

The lights worked as they should. The only thing I'm not sure about is the water resistance as I'm using them on a utility trailer but they are bright and work like a light. The lights always seem to go out after a few years or the cord gets cut or breaks apart, let's see how long they last.

One worked, one didn't.

Only one of the two bulbs worked. I'm selling a trailer that I mounted them on so I had to get another one from the local shop. There's no time to go back. The quality of the kit convinced me compared to a cheap kit from any auto parts store. The light that worked was bright, so I'm giving 3 stars as "benefit of the doubt" that maybe I just got a bad kit.

Good lighting, BUT check ground wire

Everything was fine. Everything was fine and nothing broke. My trailer is painted and I have a good grounding problem. I just put a ground wire to each bulb and it worked. It's not a headlight problem, it's a problem with my trailer. I would suggest just adding a bunch of ground wires. Several of my buddies had the same problem with their trailers. Again no problem with the light, they work GREAT.

Good for what you pay I guess

The plastic is heavy, the lenses are clear and bright and the wiring is as advertised and uncomplicated. The downside is that they are far from waterproof, much less waterproof. There are 4 holes for wiring on the back of each headlight, but only 3 are wired and NONE of them are taped. If you dip it in a bucket, it will immediately fill with water due to the open empty hole for the wire. No gaskets on the lenses. Screws are too short for some attachment points. I found myself taking each apart…
