Sturdy but could be better.

When I opened it, the first thing I noticed was a horrible chemical smell. It's a bit annoying overload. The boxes are sturdy, which I like. The letterhead will come in handy. My biggest gripe is the ropes. Although thick, a piece of tape literally holds the ends in place. This part is cheaply made considering how expensive these trash cans are.

ATTENTION multiple orders!

I needed 6 containers so I ordered 2 sets of 3. When I received my order I found that they did NOT match. But I liked the containers so much that I ordered another set, confident that the new ones would go with one of the other two sets I had already bought. Well they didn't! So now I have THREE sets and NONE FITS! I am very disappointed to say the least, especially since the quality, durability and other properties are just great!

Larger than 13 x 13 x 13

They say that these are 13x13x13 cells. You would expect them to be slightly smaller than 13x13x13 so they easily slide into the 13x13x13 bays of most shelving systems. However, they are slightly larger than 13 x 13 x 13 so they are very difficult to pull/pull out. My children will not be able to do this, which in principle contradicts their purpose. The rope is optically beautiful, but is only fixed with a piece of adhesive tape. If this tape comes off, the rope will unravel very easily.
