Open Source Cloud Management and Security for Containerisation

I like that it is open source - which means you can modify any part of their code to suit your needs without paying them money! They do have some very expensive features but if they are required then this should be discussed with support before purchasing because there may well not even exist another solution out-there at all affordable enough (even by comparison) in terms of cost per month/year etc.. Their customer service department has been absolutely brilliant throughout our relationship…

Pros
  • Also how easy these tools make creating new projects both locally inside one machine environment OR remotely over SSH access between two remote servers or more together.
Cons
  • None

OpenNebula - Great solution for hybrid clouds

I like that it has a lot of different features. It is very easy to use and understand. Some functions are not as intuitive as they could be. If you have a large system with many components then it can take some time to set up but once you get it working well it is great. Once you have it set up you will never want to go back. The best part is that it can be used at any stage in your cloud journey. We started our cloud journey using other solutions but when we realized what was available with…

Pros
  • Multiple options for building clouds, flexible deployment tools all accessible through one portal.
  • Easy scalability
  • High availability support (multi master)
Cons
  • Complexity / learning curve

Open source Cloud Computing management & monitoring solution

The best thing about open nebula is its ease of use which makes it accessible to all users irrespective their level experience in cloud computing or networking infrastructure domain as well! It also has very good support from community at large who are willing enough help you out whenever required without any hesitation whatsoever!! Not much but if there was one I would like more integration with other tools such us VMWare vCenter etc., so that i could have better control over my virtualization

Pros
  • Well structured, user friendly interface.
  • Easy installation process no complex scripting needed for deployment &/or customisation needs either ! Simple steps involved make everything simple yet effective
Cons
  • Documentation part need improvisations

Open source, great and flexible tool for Hybrid Cloud Management

The UI is very easy to use! It has all of my favorite cloud management tools together in one place (VMWare vCenter server support). I also like that you can configure it as an external service provider with multiple vendors such as AWS or Microsoft Azure. There are still some features missing from this software compared other competitors but they have been actively working towards getting those added over time so keep them updated. If your looking out there at least consider giving open Nebula…

Pros
  • Easy setup for integration.
  • Wide range deployment options available
  • Can easily integrate into existing workflows without significant effort, no extra training required
  • Great toolset built around core components needed most when deploying private clouds
Cons
  • Not the best

Easy and useful tool for building your Private Cloud

It is easy to use interface with many features that are helpful in managing cloud infrastructures or even data center environments. The software can be used as an open source solution which means it's not expensive at all. There isn't anything I dislike about this product but maybe you need more training before using the system completely since some operations like creating new virtual machine types require very specific knowledge of how things work internally within Nebula platform. But…

Pros
  • Easy to use user interfaces
  • Ability for customization, such building templates
  • Flexibility while working together
Cons
  • So-so

Open Source and Cloud Friendly Software for Virtualization

I like that it is open source software allowing anyone to use without any restrictions. It's pretty easy once you get your hands dirty with Linux commands which helps getting started fast! You'll need linux skills in order to run this as-is especially when configuring templates or creating new images. If there are no windows VMs available then using vmware player could be an alternative since it has limited hardware requirements (2GB RAM). Using cloud instances instead of dedicated servers can…

Pros
  • It's open source and open to anyone without any restrictions and it's easy to deploy virtual machines
Cons
  • You need to have Linux skills and networking knowledge in order to get started
