This is exactly what I was looking for

I needed a fan for my baby in the back seat and it's perfect. It's fairly quiet and battery life is good (we usually use the lowest settings). It has 4 different speeds and they are easy to switch and turn on and off. Removing the fan from the headrest for charging is a little tricky, but it might be more down to me as I prefer to charge at home than in the car. The fan is attached to the headrest so I don't have to worry about it falling off. The passenger in the front seat is not disturbed…

Requires button press to start

Solar panel start. It manages up to 2 out of 3 speed settings (under glass so power is wasted) but only the lowest is really reliable. So when a cloud passes, it turns itself off. And it requires a button press to turn it on. Only complaint so far, and not that bad really.

Nice little fan, works great

The fan easily attaches to the headrest to cool people or pets in the back seat. I bought this for my dog and it works great. I love that the fan is rechargeable so I can detach it from my headrest and use it outside as a portable fan. I would definitely recommend this especially if you have small children or pets.

Not bad. It could be better.

fan is weak. You can barely feel the breeze 3 feet away, even at high altitude. I would also like the fan to turn on automatically when an external power source is connected. I bought a fan in a rear-facing car seat for my son. It's attached to the rear seat headrest so I can't reach it from the front. I have to start the car, then get out and climb into the back seat to turn on the fan.

Good at first, wears off quickly.

We got this as a back seat fan for our summer toddler. The controls are excellent, the speed has increased high enough for the air conditioning to circulate from the front of the car. It doesn't stay in place while driving, so it needs a lot of adjustment. We didn't use a battery (USB only) as it's cumbersome to remove the battery to keep it from melting. We bought a fan in May that broke in July. It was never removed from the car or played with so there is no reason it should have broken.
