Ideal for older systems

I used this to connect my new TV to my old Sony cinema system and the sound is great. Now the system sounds like I spent thousands of dollars. Loud and full of bass. It only took a few minutes to connect -Up. The first time I connected it, I had to swap the cables. What a cheap solution. Makes the old ones (the Salvation Army systems) sound new again.

Pros
  • Bi-directional digital audio converter: optical to coaxial/coaxial to optical.
Cons
  • boring package

Connection to TV lost after 2 months. Replaced by 2x

I've had it for a few months and it's stopped working which is very disappointing. It doesn't connect to my TV, it only connects to Bluetooth that was purchased to connect to my TV. I bought another one to try again and a little later the new one still doesn't work. I want a full refund. I couldn't contact the seller.

Pros
  • Compatible with Blu-ray player, satellite receiver, BR player, Xbox 360, HDTV, DVD, amplifier, soundbar, speaker and all devices with digital audio output.
Cons
  • Some little things

I tried several cables and adapters before deciding on a combination that suited my needs. We hope this will save other Revain customers some headaches. I used this B07ZT7PFGX converter and B00T8HWV62 cable to connect my TV's digital audio output to Echo Studio. The only reason I removed the asterisk is because there is a bright annoying red light on top of the product that illuminates the wall and there is no way to turn it off when the converter is on. I wish they put a little rubber flap on…

Pros
  • Support for multi-channel surround sound, uncompressed PCM audio and compressed 5.1.
Cons
  • weak
