Worn on a 10k run before a marathon. The straps slip off when running, causing the backpack to open up and the water bottles to jerk up and down. I had to keep pulling them up. Probably great for hiking or trail running, but not ideal for road racing in my opinion.

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • Slightly torn

The bottles did not fit properly in the quiver

The bottles did not fit properly in the quiver. They were moving and the whole setup was very uncomfortable. Also, the straps under my arms cut into my armpit and were very uncomfortable. If I loosened the straps, the quiver would bounce around my shoulders as I walked. So I returned it.

Not for skinny runners

Really wanted to love this backpack, it's probably the best backpack I have (I've used backpacks from almost every major manufacturer over the years) but after a lot of fun this one goes finished my "useless" bunch. While the thought process behind it is nice, with the bottles up and the front open to airflow, if you're lean you'll rub. The other issue is that the straps they use for the front are elastic. This keeps them from getting stuck when the backpack impacts, but also allows them to…

I've worn it for 18 and 20 mile training runs to see how it feels. It was great to have my liquids within easy reach. The amount of storage space on this product is worth every penny. The only thing I didn't like was having to constantly tighten the front straps. The weight of the liquid rested on the strap on my back. I contacted a friend who is an Orangemud rep and he said to put it on without the bottles, tighten all the straps, THEN put the bottles in the harness. I don't know if this…

Hydration pack friction issues

Was looking for a pack that would keep me hydrated and nourished for long runs so 2 bottles would suit my needs. tried it shirtless for the first time. DO NOT DO IT! After a (luckily short) run, my chest, back and armpits were rubbed. Nest Run I wore the shirt and everything went great. I don't know if I have a faulty batch, but bottle caps leak when drinking, so I have to put my whole neck in my mouth to drink; not ideal for running but nothing that can't be managed. The 2 inverted pockets are
