Unique hub solution.

Fixed to the back of the table and returned the valuable property. Ideal for keys and other devices that don't require regular access. The price is a bit high but nothing like that.

Pros
  • Easy installation

Comfortable, well made

Easy to press against the bottom right corner of the screen despite the slanted back of the screen. Grips well. Happy with this purchase

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Has some drawbacks

BE CAREFUL! Electronics

I assumed the 2 cables were 1 for data and 1 for power. It has 1 USB-A to USB-A port and 1 USB-A to USB-C port. The port on the back of the device is USB A for data and micro USB for power. No micro USB cable or power adapter is included. I already have one that is exactly the same but with no power connection I expected the product to come with everything I need to power it and it doesn't. In addition, the build quality is not that good. as I thought. The USB port on the back (for data) is…

Solution to many problems

This USB-C hub is best configured for my computer's needs. It's well built, with just enough ports for my additional USB-C needs, and comes with the necessary USB-C cables to plug it in alongside my computer.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Weak

with Mac Mini 2020, USB-C Additional power REQUIRED

This is my first USB-C device. While the 2 USB-A ports on my 2020 Mac Mini allow Orico to be used without an external power supply, the Mini's USB-C ports don't seem to do so. I ended up repurposing my Orico on an older computer.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Functionality

USB C doesn't work, needs an extra micro USB to power the hub

The hub only works with a USB-A to USB-A connection. This connection is for data only, so don't expect it to "charge" anything as it doesn't. You'll also need a separate micro-USB cable (not included) to power the hub and charge things. Connecting USB-A to USB-C doesn't work at all. Super shame as that was the whole point and reason I bought the hub.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Frequency

Doesn't seem to work with USB-C

The product comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable. I bought this specifically for USB-C (using a Mac). The USB-C cable was not recognized. I tried other cables and they weren't recognized either. The USB-A cable (included) worked perfectly. I don't need USB-A. I send back.

Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

This is by far the best USB hub I've ever used

This is a great option when you need to clean your desk surface. All my previous USB hubs had to sit on a table, cables were at the top and I was short on space. This one, which works great for both data transfer and charging, is a pleasure to use. It clips securely to the side of my desk, away from all the cables on the desk. I have three external drives and use the fourth port for my phone when I need to charge it or sync it to my computer - much faster in a wired configuration. It looks well

Pros
  • USB hubs
Cons
  • are weak

Works well, looks good, but has issues with iMac

Issue #1: This device cannot be safely installed on older iMacs with thick profiles (e.g. 2007 to mid-2012) because the Clip slips off the curved back. I was able to securely attach a strip of Velcro along the bottom of the display. (A dab of glue can also give the clip a good grip.) Problem #2: When the hub is installed and powered on and the iMac goes to sleep, it locks into a state where not only can you wake it up , it does not even respond to the power button . You'll have to unplug and…
