🛏️ The King Size Navy Vellux Blanket for a Soft, Warm and Insulated Home Bed & Sofa – Perfect for Pets Review

Ever since I discovered vellux blankets a few years ago I've only used them. They hold up pretty well considering I have cats that love to knead. They are very light. They're insulated and that helps keep you warm in the winter, but in the summer when the nights are hot they also seem to insulate from the heat.

The day I received this blanket, I washed and dried it according to the manufacturer's instructions. When I took it out of the dryer it had holes in it and lint went everywhere! I'm sending it back immediately for a refund. The only positive comment I can give is that it doesn't fade or bleed when washed. But since it basically fell apart on day one, I would give it ZERO stars if I could.

So soft, so warm, big. So many king-size items aren't really king-size. They either don't go down far enough on either side or they don't fold down without going too far up. This is the correct size. I have 4 of these now (3 different beds) and if they ever wear out I will definitely be buying more. I also have a few smaller ones that I use as "throws" in my TV room. One of the royal quilts I've had for over 20 years. Highly recommended.

I have friends with these blankets but they are over a few years old but they were amazing and highly recommend. Manufacturing must have changed a lot as this comforter is very stiff even after washing, but the worst thing is that PIECES of fabric come out and reveal the mesh underneath, just by accident. It's a shame I was looking forward to this duvet but it's definitely not made to the same quality anymore.

Great duvet. Easy-care. Easy to use. Very light but keeps me warm. I really like this blanket. What's not to like? Addendum: I noticed, however, that pieces of the blanket fall out of the fabric and fall off. Leaves white holes. My duvet is navy blue. This is a big disappointment! I didn't want to buy a comforter that would fall apart after a few weeks. Very cheaply made.

Bought this blanket for my husband as a Christmas present as he mentioned he had a navy blue vellux blanket as a child. I also got sunburned as a kid. It's not that blanket. I'm ashamed to show my husband this blanket when he leaves work, but it should make a meaningful gift.1. It's not soft at all.2. The box was damaged and the bag itself was torn around the edges.3. Blanket with stains all over. Looks like sun damage. I do not recommend this product to anyone.

This will be my first full winter life on BT and I don't like the cold. My bedroom is very warm and I only like light duvets. I was happy to find this blanket. It's light and warm. It is almost soft, slightly prickly. I simply folded the leaves over the skin. But there were holes, very small ones. I contacted Revain and they sent a replacement straight away. Each time I washed a new duvet in cold water on a gentle cycle. I dried it on low heat (lots of lint!). I wanted this blanket to be liked…

Don't waste your money on another cheap foreign fake. I was so stupid that I bought two at once. My husband first pointed out several small holes within a few days of purchase. They looked like they had been knocked out. I had to send it back but since I didn't see them out of the box I figured it was my fault. For the second guest duvet, I felt that it should be washed before use. Oh god I pray this doesn't ruin my front load washing machine. I opened the washing machine and found 2 whole tubs
