Worked great on my 1987 Heritage Softail

Worked great on my 1987 Heritage Softail! I used a ratchet and socket which makes lifting the bike up so much easier, easier and safer so I can work on the front fork and wheel! I like the low height when closed which makes it easy to get under my low bike. That's the main reason I chose the scissor jack over the hydraulic version on wheels - too high to crawl up. I didn't lift it very high but it seemed very exercising and the bike was jacked up.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Minor

I do NOT recommend it.

Okay I bought this jack because I was told in the comments that it lifts the bike off the ground easily and you don't have to jack it up. I bought it, waited for it to come, and sure enough the kickstand doesn't go high enough to raise my 2003 YZ125, let alone the top slopes under the weight, and it's not a heavy bike in the slightest. . I had to put an aluminum step under the jack, which meant I still had to jack the bike up by hand to get it up and jack the jack up a bit, and it still didn't…

Pros
  • Consistent Test Results
Cons
  • Reliability

TWO YEARS OF LOVE

Recently bought for a friend because mine was so useful. I bought my own in July 2018. Upon arrival I immediately removed it completely to apply a light coat of axle lube to any rub or wear spot. I also keep it well lubed. > My heaviest bike weighs about 675 pounds, so it's the heaviest load I've ever lifted. A powerful, high-torque drill works pretty well, as does a hand wrench.> I've used it for other purposes around the house and it's never let me down. This is by far one of the best…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Love this lift - way less than $100 ($70)

I'm so tired of lifting my trials bike onto a milk crate for work or storage. The OrionMotorTeck motorcycle scissor lift is exactly what I was looking for. Have more to spend but not sure what you're getting? It rises a lot and has a stable base. Peter, maybe pricier models have better paint protection or powder coating but I was fine with that. EVERYTHING I buy is thoroughly cleaned and then protected with two coats of Eezox which seals and protects all exposed steel parts. If you don't know…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Update 04/23/21: The second did the same as the first! The bolt broke when I tried to lift my dinah with the tool. Luckily I was able to lower the bike with a dock jack. You have to look at the design of the thing. This could damage the bike or worse, injure someone! I would not recommend this socket. Update 12/14/20: I emailed the seller and after he realized it was defective he sent me a new one. It arrived within a few days. Very good salesman! On this second one, I won't be using a torque…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket
