I like the workmanship. A head above the norm. However, the design is not perfect. I bought it for its ability to hold long keys, but not all my keys are long. I expected the design to match the long * and * short keys. What happens is that the shorter keys create a wider middle section, and since there is only one key in the middle, the top or bottom tends to stick out in a cone shape. I was reminded to review this product and came back to see I bought it in 2007! I still use it. It was the most durable key case I've ever owned.

The Osgoode Marley key case in question is slightly longer than most key cases. I had a hard time even finding one that long. Car keys are now thicker/longer, but few key case manufacturers seem to have realized that key cases need to be thicker/longer too. This key case fits the length of my car keys well. BUT, it only has hooks for six keys, plus a detachable car key ring (total 7 keys), that's not enough. Even attaching more than one key to the hook will not work as the lid will not snap if…

The key holder uses a weak spring to hold keys in place. The keys are loose and you are locked out - your key is gone. Terrible design.
