I've only had these stools for about a year and they are poorly designed. They need to be tightened, but I can't get the dowels out without scratching them all. The dowels went too far into the holes. Bad design again.

Good design but lacks padding. Looks great, but the padding is so soft it sinks in. I weigh 175 pounds and my wife is much smaller and it affects her. Also the screw hole plugs didn't work at all. Someone fell into the box, someone fell out. The couple just fits. They look good from afar, but that's about it. I would spend more to know what I'm doing now.

In general, I was not impressed at all. I ordered two and one of the holes didn't match. I managed to put them back together but one of the screws stuck out a good 3/4 inch due to alignment issues. In addition, the wood is very cheap and poorly sanded. You will definitely get shards. to cover the screws do not hold. They don't have enough depth, you have to glue them, and they will stick out more than they should.

Just what I needed at the gym/office for my new high table. I wanted something that I could store when needed due to its perfect size. Got 3 of these for our counter. We've been like this for about 2 months now. Not bad for the price. We've used it enough times to know that it's not really designed for heavier people (over 225 pounds). These stools are beautiful, easy to assemble and very comfortable. The pillows are a bit softer than I would like, so if you sit for a long time, your butt hurts a bit. But they look great and have a nice appearance. They are much lighter than I expected so the wood used is not very dense. One of the stools had a small tear in the paneling, but nothing major.
