You can't fry in this wok!

If you think you want to deep fry, this wok is not for you. The temp setting claims it hits 400, which should be hot enough, but the oil doesn't get hot. If you cook at lower temperatures, everything is fine. An annoying feature: Why does the temperature control have to be hidden right under the handle? Many electric stoves are designed this way. This involves craning your neck or trying to lean into the right position to see the dial and then run your fingers through the slot to change it…

COVER LASTED ONE MONTH BOTH TIMES PURCHASED.

Don't be fooled. I am a full fledged professional user of woks and electric woks and under no circumstances use metal tools in electric woks. I use a lot of oil and wash lightly. - This cover is a failure in every way. - Durability is not only greatly exaggerated by the seller/advertisement, it is MUCH worse than the competition. - None of them are great. Works great but has one major design flaw.

This product works great and the clear vented lid is a plus as you can still see the food with the lid closed. However, there is a major design flaw in the design and placement of the heating element and temperature controller. The photos show that the heating element is plugged in at the exact spot and under the carrying handle. This blocks the view of the temperature adjustment knob and makes it difficult to access and adjust the controls. To further aggravate the poor design there is also…
