Protective Otterbox Reflex Series Case for iPod touch 4G - Glacier Blue/Black: Ultimate Safeguard for Your Device Review

I love this product. Without this product I would have had to replace my daughter's I-Pod 20x a long time ago. I-Pod keeps dropping them and it's been over 2 years since I bought this product and it continues to protect I-Pod. She begs me to buy her prettier cases, but I will NEVER let her replace the Otterbox because if that iPod breaks, you can't replace it.

This case is perfect for what I was looking for our 4th generation iPod touch. It pairs easily with the radio controlled clock in my daughter's room and is actually easier to pair. This case also makes it easier to hold your iPod. Not sure how much protection it offers when dropped on a really hard surface (concrete, tile, parquet) but for now it meets our needs. I'm a big fan of the Defender series, but you can't connect your device to the Defender case.

When I bought this product I thought it was similar to Otterbox for Iphone. I thought it had a hard plastic screen on the front to fully cover the iPod. It is not. It's just a case that splits in the middle and slides over the iPod at both ends and then snaps back into place. It fits very well and comes with a screen protector. I guess I just didn't read the description carefully enough and assumed there was more to it than there actually was. This is a good product, just a mistake on my part.

This case is very bad. I got it for Christmas and have been using it for about 4 or 5 months. The button broke three times and I taped it back together almost every time but it just kept breaking so I gave up. The case slides off very easily, I almost dropped my iPod because it fell and the sides cracked, the only thing that kept it from breaking was rubber and superglue. And when I take it out of my pocket, one of the parts of the suitcase is still in my pocket.

This product is great! I bought it because the iPod Touch needed a thin case that would still protect it and it seemed like the best choice, and it was. The case has served my iPod very well the whole time I've had it on my device (maybe 8 months) and then I gave my iPod to my sister and she somehow managed to break the case. However, Otterbox has a lifetime warranty and they quickly sent me a new one for free. So this case is really durable, while it might not suit the clumsy folks among us…

This was my first time at Otterbox and I was very impressed. I still have the case even though it's broken. It worked well, protected my iPod and looked good. It was thin and thin so it didn't make my iPod any bigger. I was able to easily operate all buttons, headphones and charger without any problems.
