🪒 Brass Handled Otto Kampfe Modern Safety Razor Set with Rust-Free Leather Case Review

This is a VERY heavy and VERY aggressive razor. So if you are a beginner or have sensitive skin, this shaver is NOT for you. I've used it 3 times (very carefully) and it works great. For me the perfect combination with a Polsilver Iridium blade. It also has a beautiful design.

The first thing I love about this razor is the finish. It looks modern compared to my Mercury. The second point is the construction. It feels sturdy and feels comfortably heavy in the hand. Third, and what I love most about this razor, is that the curvature of the razor when attaching the blade creates an angle for a really close shave. On the second pass I hear the knife cutting into the stubble. Highly recommended.

very aggressive shave, I've been using a double blade for a few years but it requires EXTRA care or you'll surely bleed and look like a razor for a while until I figure it out . Three weeks later I feel better but now I have cuts up to my chin.

The handle and top cover are well made. The underside of the cap has a very light chrome finish that appears to scratch easily. The shave itself was brutal for me. The blade feels too strong and the razor does not slip. I used a Bic chrome blade but the shave was still uncomfortable. It actually hurt. Can't see myself using it again, thinking about going back. Unless you are a masochist I would look elsewhere for something more comfortable.

The quality of the heads is low, with cheap chrome, uneven plating and nothing special. It needs a complete overhaul.
