I was under the impression it would stay pressurized until used as a factory unit. This keeps your breathing filters dry.

Bought for my 80 cu ft tank. I chose this because of the pressure gauge and the exhaust valve. Month worked fine, and then began to suck air. Tried to solve the problem but couldn't find it. The release valve is a spring button and wears out in a short time.
