Pros - nice print, light weight, decent size Cons - thin and cheap. It doesn't offer any support and I can't imagine it being good for your back if you're actually lugging around a few books. No external side pockets to carry a water bottle. Feels very cheap.

This backpack sucks! It's very cheaply made and the zippers fell apart after two weeks of use! One zipper broke the first week, the next zipper broke the second week and they won't close. This isn't a heavy book for the second graders who only carry around a lunch bag. Very disappointed!

I returned this. It's a super cleavage, but when I finally got my hands on it, the material felt flimsy and cheap. I didn't think it would last a few months before breaking down with everyday use at school. If you need a trendy piece that you only use occasionally, this might be better for you than a school backpack for 9 year olds.

My granddaughter loved this backpack mostly because of the Pusheen design. Will be used for your upcoming school year. It's easy, but for a second grader it should be just perfect. The entire Pusheen print is amazing! I also bought a Pusheen notebook (sold separately) which has cute drawings on every page. Perfect for a new magazine writer.

This adorable oversized backpack is perfect for all the stuff my daughter needs to bring home from school. It seems to be holding up, except for the straps. They are sooooo thin and without any pillows! My daughter complains that sometimes they hurt because of the weight of the packed bag of books. So keep that in mind when you think about it.

My daughter is happy with it. She chose this for her backpack. I definitely think it's cute and for the price it's decent enough. The material is very thin so I'm afraid it won't last the whole school year and will tear in a few months. Overall a good backpack but I probably wouldn't have chosen it as my school backpack if I knew how thin it is.
