This comforter is perfect for my high king bed. The amount of drapes around the perimeter is perfect for adequate coverage of the spring block without the need for dust. It's fairly thin, which I prefer when I live in a warm climate. The colors are soothing and spa-like. Our home is on the lake and this bedding is just what I was looking for. Haven't washed it yet so can't comment on durability but looks pretty high quality. I would recommend.

I have a large platform bed, so I tuck the bedspread under the mattress when I make my bed. I also have an alternate comforter under the bedspread so I ordered a California King comforter to have a place to hide. If my bed was really CK size it wouldn't be big enough. Again, this spread is sweet, but MUCH more muted in color than the picture online (although it almost matches the picture on the box). I washed and dried it before putting it on the bed and it felt nice with little to no fading.

I was disappointed with this bedspread as we only have king size but I ordered California King to make sure it would fit as it wasn't expensive. The duvet doesn't go up and covers the pillows like in the picture but I can live with that. I needed a thin quilt/blanket. I also didn't want a solid duvet or just a two-tone duvet. It was one of the few patchwork quilts I found that was multicolored and didn't look like Grandma's floral quilt. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is the print quality. It looks like the outlines and coloring are turned off. It may be intentional, but the way it's done just makes it low quality.
