First thoughts are good. Met my expectations. Asus Zenbook

I have an Asus Zenbook (UX390UAK) with a single USB-C port (no other ports). The adapter that came with the laptop is dead. My biggest problem was finding something that could power the laptop and use HDMI and USB at the same time. This travel adapter did it.

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose

Pretty neat. to Notebook Accessories

Don't get me wrong, the size of this little dock is excellent! The only downside is that PD now allows 90 watts. It caps it at 45W, so it will slowly charge your laptop if you need more than 45W. Shit for my XPS 13 but it still charges and goes back to 100% even when connected to 2 displays and using VMs or some good old scripts.

Don't waste your money/time

I saw this dock for the first time and thought it would fit my desk perfectly and also offer decent portability. The connectivity and connectivity options are great, and the outer shell is of good weight and quality. The biggest issue, and that's enough to account for everything previously mentioned to still count 1 star, is that the plastic pieces holding the top of the case over the circuit board are incredibly brittle. I have now purchased and returned this item twice and both times either…

Great laptop accessory hub

I bought this for my Chromebook. This was the third device I've bought for it and it's the only one that worked flawlessly. Of course I'm not asking much, I'm connecting a monitor, a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse. Previous "hubs" worked, but the mouse kept jerking or the keyboard didn't work. It worked as if it came with a laptop.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • No performance

Works great while it lasts

I purchased this item because I have previously purchased OWC products and I am confident that they make quality products. Unfortunately not this USB-C hub as it only lasts a maximum of 3 months. Only used the hub today to find out that it has split in two and the plastic pieces have snapped off. I've never dropped this thing or taken it with me on trips. I am very very disappointed.

  • New to my collection

Well done but not up to date see review.

I have ordered several OWC components, all of good quality. Got this document and was a bit disappointed. At least in my case, the USB-C port is not intended for data transfer, but only for looping through the power connection. If it was on the list I didn't see it. When I plug a Cam Link video capture device into one of the docking station's USB ports, no signal comes through, but there is a signal when I plug it into the Apple USB-C. USB adapter directly into the computer. The USB ports are…

100w travel charger perfect for the new 16 " MacBook Pro

Bought for a 16" MacBook Pro (the one with the 96w AC adapter). I needed a desktop dock with 100W bandwidth and multiple inputs (SD, HBMI, USB) and this travel dock did the trick. At peak times - charging the laptop, saturating the CPU, connecting to an ultrawide monitor - I've actually received the USB-C accessory disabled error on my MBP when the accessory exceeds its allotted power. I tried later under more normal conditions and the error went away. Overall, I liked it so much, including the
