OZ-USA Aftermarket Shoei Helmet Visor (RF-1000 Review

I love the look of this visor, it's super reflective. But in my opinion too dark for the night, I bought it for the day. It fits my Shoei RF-SR helmet and is very easy to assemble. The visor doesn't rise and fall as smoothly as the Shoei visor, but it seems to fit well. I think this is an overall great sight and a great price. I will most likely buy again if I need a replacement

I ordered this visor for my Shoei RF-1200 and it didn't fit. The material it is made of is not the same as Shoei. It's thin and of poor quality. When the item didn't fit my helmet, they refused to pay for shipping. Due to the size, the shipping costs are half the price of the device. Do yourself a favor and buy from a trusted seller. Don't put that junk on your beautiful and expensive Shoei. Also, I don't think this visor will survive a fall (not sure, just speculation). You get what you pay…

Excellent visor. Dark. Looks great! It's impossible to see the inside of a helmet when you're not nearby, and even then it's still difficult to see through the tint. I get a lot of compliments on my helmet. Great for my Shoei Qwest. Ease of installation. Great for day and night. Some people say they can't wear it at night, but of course I have no problem, it's a bit darker at night, but still safe. People also say it scratches easily. If it looks like a helmet and shipping was pretty good. However, the coating is extremely sensitive. A simple wipe down with eyeglass cleaner and eyeglass cloth left a scratch on the surface that let the full light in, now making it very uncomfortable to ride. And it looks like the same coating is peeling off. It's probably worth spending the extra money on some of the more durable versions of these.
