design flaws. in Spark Plugs & Ignition Tools

This allowed me to disconnect the spark plug wires from the spark plugs, but it wasn't easy. The groove on the tool was too high to catch the tab on the wires so I could never get a lock. Luckily the friction of the rubber on the boot was enough to remove it. Although they helped a lot with installing new cables.

Pros
  • Solid Finish
Cons
  • Quality

Grinding is required for working Angle grinder

The handle shaft is welded to the inside of the puller. The shank interferes with the spark plug boot, preventing the puller from fully seating on the boot so it can be rotated to engage the lug on the boot. I had to use an angle grinder to grind the handle stock as shown in the photo. The handle shaft must be welded to the outside of the boot puller, not the inside.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Avoid using for 2.0 MK4 VW

I'll spare you the headache and say it doesn't work for MK4 2.0 Volkswagen. This is not a replacement for a dealer tool, in fact it didn't even hold the fork and when I got my hands on it it pulled the fork out but I couldn't get the fork out. I swear to god it was impossible to remove. Please just take my advice and avoid it if you're buying this for this job. This may work for other engines, but will NOT work for the 2.0 MK4 engine.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Reliability
