My 2 year old is tall for his age. He wears 3T and 4T clothes. But I know these pajamas always run small. They are designed for a comfortable fit. I bought size 5 for my 2.5 year old son. Fits perfectly. Not too tight, enough freedom. They got a little tighter after a few washes, but they fit perfectly. I recommend getting at least 1 size bigger. Also good quality.

Excellent material. super soft REVISED: Well, I originally said it was amazing. And so it was. Why change from 5 to 3 stars? Well if you wash them and put them in the dryer (as usual) you'll find the image on the shirt sticks together and when you take it off here's what happens: look at the image as well as the material is amazing . Images are super cheap. You may want to hang them dry.

Bought a pair for my 10 year old grandson, a size too big for him and dried on a low setting and they shrunk and he couldn't wear them anymore! ONE pajamas for a boy. It usually comes in a size 10-12 so I bought a size 14 to allow for shrinking. They weren't particularly soft either, very tight and the material was uncomfortable. I am very disappointed but cannot return after washing and drying! Revain or the seller needs to credit my account. This is unacceptable and very disappointing…
