Although these pouches are thin (don't expect to store groceries in them) they are great for light household items or shoe dust bags. On request, heavy goods such as potatoes can be packed in a double sack. The laces are a bit short and simple, but they are functional and completely cover the opening of the bag.

They are a bit rough so better to use on shoes or under clothes. Thread unraveled, I suggest you tie them before officially using them for anything. There is a small cut at the edge of one side where the laces run, which is useful to ensure items fit and have some breathing room.

These great bags have many uses. I bought these to replace the plastic bags I buy at the supermarket. This size is a little small for most foods, but works well for cilantro, parsley and other small foods. I've washed and dried these bags in the washer and dryer several times and they've held up well.

I bought them with the intention of using them as 'tote bags' at the supermarket (instead of buying plastic bags at the store). Well they are small for that purpose - in my opinion. While they are 8 x 10 as the description says, they would only fit 2 or 3 small tomatoes - maybe 2 or 3 limes. A couple of large navel oranges wouldn't fit.
