Battle each other and yell "When worlds collide! "

Two is perfect for two kids and saves us buying two! Obviously they're not "worldwide accurate" but we weren't expecting that. They give you good opportunities for a "dad joke". Example: blow them up "I'm blowing up the world!"

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

Holes sprout quickly, just enough

Good enough for a beach ball but they didn't last after first use. The hole quickly grew and became shallow. I didn't check the accuracy of the lands (it's a water polo after all) but everything looked more or less in the right place. If you want accuracy, buy a real globe.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Upgrades

Need tape to keep it inflated

Easy to inflate, accurate enough for our purposes (top notch) but I had to use tape to make it work. The fork doesn't seem to want to grip. I finished inflating and pushed the plug all the way in and the pin repeatedly slipped out of the hole and let the air out. A piece of tape holds it up well so far, so it might be worth the money depending on how you use it.

Pros
  • Cool stuff
Cons
  • don't remember

Beautiful globe! And it's a beach ball!

I was very impressed. One complaint would be that the globe doesn't quite line up at a seam. Okay, it's a plastic beach ball! Apart from that, it really contains a lot of information. I wanted an inexpensive globe for my kids and I think with something like this I can write with dry erase markers and not worry if it gets a little messed up. If we don't need it, blow it off and put it away! Good product!

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • old

Great for 3 years. alt

We bought this for our grandson who just found out we live on earth so we wanted to continue teaching. It was difficult for me to blow it fully but my husband made an effort and everything was fine. Our child enjoys telling everyone about where we live on earth and loves the idea of holding the earth in their hands. We liked the idea of having a spare, so we dressed him up until the inevitable happened with the little guy and the pup. Definitely worth the money.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Secret

This is a globe with map lines, not a replica of the earth.

They worked well for my planned skydiving story. They jumped very well and were light enough not to hurt if a kid got in the way. Not great quality but good for the price and for what I needed. They would make very good beach balls for a day at the beach. What I didn't realize, however, was that they looked more like map-drawn globes than a replica of the Earth, like a big blue marble in space. Next time I will read the description and pay more attention to the details.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Compatibility

Small and expensive: pools and water toys

These were not 16" balls, they appeared smaller than the pack of 12" globes I bought. The 12-inch globes, which also turned out to be slightly better quality, cost about $1.75 each while costing $4.50. I was fine paying that difference when I thought I'd buy the larger version. Also, they aren't round, I don't know why they can't be made round, but in the picture they look round. It's okay, but I was very disappointed with the price and the fact that these aren't the 16 inch headphones I was…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Functionality
