Editing my previous review. This screen doesn't feel as grainy as the others, but it's still grungy enough to eat my Apple Pencil tip. I also noticed that it doesn't recognize my finger when navigating apps. To return.

Concerned about bubbles, I took my time and cleaned the screen according to the instructions. Worked great on the first try, no blisters. Just start stepping back slowly and descending slowly. The gorgeous matte finish really reduces the flair. Huge advances with the Apple Pencil. More like writing on paper. I noticed some creaking, but the pressure and angle adjustment seemed to loosen up. All in all a great alternative to more expensive brands and you get three instead of two.

I love this screen protector. Now I have a matte screen and it really feels like writing on paper. The protective film does not cover the entire screen as shown in the photo. One reason I took off a star is how difficult it is to put the screen protector on. Difficult to avoid dust, especially bubbles (because of the thin layer). Tried it twice (2 screen protectors) before I was able to apply it with no dust or bubbles. In general, the protective film is satisfied.

I don't know why I went beyond the price. The kit includes 3 screen protectors, but the materials are only enough for 2 of them. The second and more annoying issue for me is that the screen protector doesn't even cover the entire screen. Approximately 1/8 - 3/16 of the curb around the bare glass run. NOT PERFECT. I suspect this is to keep it from bubbling up if you have a cleated casing, but as I have a cleated casing and it's still nowhere near making contact with the tread this frustrates me.

It's still not as slick as the iCarez brand I usually get (they don't come in mini size yet) but it's not terrible. Some of the matte treads I've tried on the new Mini are gritty and terrible, but this one isn't too bad. It's still a bit dirty, but I'm keeping it for now. The photo shows air bubbles which I can't remove, they provided a scraper which I used but it didn't remove everything. I will hold on to this protector until I can renew it.
