🧶 USA-Made 1/8 Inch Shock Cord by PARACORD PLANET - Available in 10, 25, 50, and 100 Feet (Black, 100 Feet) Review

I think this is the second reel I'm using and I find this size extremely useful. This was a great addition to my RV and workshop.

This paracord was just what I needed to fix tent poles that had lost their elasticity. It's easy and a lot cheaper than buying new sticks!

I love this stuff and use it for a variety of purposes. One of my tricks is to replace the laces with these, tie them tightly and comfortably, and then glue the knot. Now I can put on and take off almost any pair of lace-up shoes. Lots of other tricks.

That's exactly what it says. Useful for most needs like new lacing, shoelaces, bag laces. It's a Shock Cord, of course, so it does stretch a bit, but it's still pretty strong and easily spliced/joined to form a loop. Good value for money.

Okay, not much to say about that. This is an elastic cord. It worked. I needed to make a stuffed animal zoo for my kids' overflowing collection of stuffed animals. It worked and if I ever need a product like this again. I know exactly where to go. Shipping was fast too, getting to us before we were even ready to assemble our DIY project.

Bought to store in my Honda Element which we have converted into a micro camper. That works great! I made a kayak grommet grille in both the sunroof and the rear window on the driver's side. Ideal for getting flat objects out of the way. I've also used it to make a car clothesline and something to hang paper towels and toilet paper on. So many uses!

The cable itself has 5 stars but you have to put it for the packaging. I was kind of hoping for a roll as shown in the picture but it comes in a pack wrapped in a giant sticker. Of course, the sticker does what stickers do and leaves a sticky residue on the cable. Aside from the sticker, the pile tends to turn into a mess. It's not the same as just pulling it out of the reel. It must be unfolded carefully, otherwise it will still get messed up. But the cord is great.

I've found a thousand and one uses for an outdoor layline. It provides fantastic tension between the canvas loops and the ground stakes. I also use it for my Ferro Staff to ensure it doesn't fall out of my knife's sheath after it's worn down from use. I use it to secure items in my backpack that I don't want to lose. The quality of the Paracord Planet Shock Cord is superb and if you are looking for one of these I highly recommend you buy them.

I bought this to use on a boat cover but we borrowed a few yards to make our coronavirus masks. Just make sure the strings aren't too short, because while they're very elastic, they'll dig into your ears. It's best to make sure it fits snugly, but not too tight for maximum comfort. The boat will be launched this weekend and I am using the rest to keep the cover on the boat when it is stored at the shore station.
