Once installed these cooking grates are fine but what genius designed them to require 7/16" and 9/16" drill bits for the mounting holes ? I have at least four sets of drill bits, but only one had a 9/16" bit (and it's a long-tipped speed drill) and not a 7/16" bit. It should have been possible to change the design a bit to use more common bits, but no.

These latches are great, very strong but unfortunately too big for my use. I bought these to replace missing pins on my Polk Audio Monitor 7 and they are twice the size. They seem very strong and if I were willing to drill grilles and cabinets for them they would work great but I don't want to do that with my Polks. I will keep them for future use and look for the right ones for my speakers.

I bought these to replace some broken tips on my subwoofer. They are an exact replacement for my solar fire and are of good quality. Getting the old busted male side off the grill was difficult, to say the least. But the new one drove into the old hole without any problems. They fit snugly and must be aligned prior to insertion. The fit for female cups is very good, and the grilles match the speaker enclosure very well.
