Passat 1Tiers Points Cathedral Wedding Review

I bought it for my wedding because I only needed one but I didn't really care about the quality as I only wore it once. The material was definitely a bit stiffer than what you see in bridal shops. The embellishment next to the pearls wasn't very smooth, which made it look very cheap (which it is, considering the average price for one at a bridal shop is $100+). This is the veil for you if you are looking for something cheap but beautiful and unique.

Almost identical to David's Veil #689 (except it's much cheaper than David's Wedding Veil at $189.95). The only difference I noticed was that David's veil had a rhinestone embroidered on the edge of each flower (about 21 flowers I think). Anyway, I bought some Swarovski crystals from the hobby lobby ($3 off for 40 crystals) and I'm going to carefully glue them back where they were on David's veil. It just adds a touch of bling. I'm so glad I kept looking for the veil at Revane!

This veil is EXACTLY the one my daughter tried on at David's bridal shop last month. There were a few spots where the threads/beads were loose and I had to tighten them, but saving over $125 for the same veil was a godsend! Please note that there was a little odor when unpacked, but it will go away if you hang it up and let it air out for a few days. I couldn't be happier with the value. This veil is identical to the one I wanted at David's Bridal and it's great! However, this is not the quality. Mine had glue on it that I wanted to peel off. You can see where it was, but now it's not so visible. The beads weren't sewn very well either, there are snags and loose threads. I wasn't satisfied with the quality for the price. If I pay 15€ for it, ok. But I ended up having to cut a huge amount of the veil from the bottom because the design wasn't clear to the edge. This took a few hours as I had to be very careful not to cut the decorative stitching. Also, the beads weren't all sewn on correctly and I had to attach some with fabric glue. I wanted to love this veil. I'm very careful not to spend a ton of money on something that is essentially a piece of mesh with a few sparkles. When I saw the David remake I miss I jumped! However, I was a bit disappointed. While the actual bead appears "reddish", this is not the case with the thread used. The thread looks like more traditional gold overpowered by blush.
