📱 Patriot 256GB A1 / V30 Micro SD Card: Ideal for Android Phones & Tablets, 4K Video Recording Review

The description says for use with 4K video with read speeds up to 100 MB/s, write speeds up to 80 MB/s. A writing speed of 30 MB/s was specified on the back of the packaging. I put it in my Gopro Hero7 and tried to record a 4K video and got the "Card too slow" error. Obviously these cards had the wrong label. It should read "V30, U3, Class 10, Ai, XC I". But obviously it only delivers up to 30MB/s? Impossible. I'm sending it back to Revain for a refund.

Tested with CrystalDiskMark 6.0.1 x64 read, 92.7+ MB/s write, 76.5+ MB/s write speed slightly lower than expected, will be crucial when used to shoot 4k video at very high frame rates BUT definitely has a V30 rating. Can not complain. Reading speed corresponds to the declared.

I originally bought this to replace the 128GB SanDisk in my Surface. I saw it rated for apps and figured I could get away with installing apps on it like I did with SanDisk. boy it was a mistake I'm getting write speeds of around 40MB/s for around 10 seconds.
