It's prettier than I thought it would be and perfect for holding a spoon or spatula while I cook. I love the saying "I licked the spoon" as it's printed here in black and white. It shouldn't surprise anyone in my family if they see me secretly tasting while I'm cooking! This spoon holder was very well wrapped and packaged. The little box it came in is good enough for gift wrapping and it really makes a good gift. Kittens bring good luck. :)

Years ago I had an old spoon rest on my stove, it broke and we haven't had it since. Recently my daughter mentioned this and told me how much she missed it because she got tired of wiping the stovetop every time she put down the spoon after stirring the pots. After some research I finally settled on this one because of the little kitty's size and cute design. It works great, holding both regular spoons and wider spatulas. Also, it has an adorable cat design which I like.
