Brilliant. Too bad it's made of plastic.

It's amazing and I love it. It looks very nice. I give 4 stars because everything is plastic. If the base was made of wood and the ball was made of glass, it would be the most perfect object! But I'm thrilled and the price is fair.

Plastic. overpriced. Chaotic. Not practical.

The product is made of plastic, so the price is too high. The base will shake when inverted to pour out the sugar. This is the messy process of taking the bottom of the castle out of the sugar bowl. The granules will stick to the lock and fly everywhere if you put them in a spoonful of coffee sugar. This item could be improved if the lock inside could be used as a spoon. On the plus side, the bolted base provides a good seal that keeps moisture out. Cute but dirty and not very practical.

Makes you smile! for dishes & serving dishes

First let me say that this is pretty close to what I was expecting based on the description and reviews. I love snow globes and the fact that they are functional makes them even better! My grandkids love to shake it, so I like that it's plastic! But I really want it to be glass with a wooden bottom. It would be much nicer. The plastic scratches a little when scratched with a spoon. In addition, sugar sticks unattractively to these scratches. Being a perfectionist, I've switched from the extraโ€ฆ
