Excellent protection. Easy to build foam.

Pelikan and Nanuk are great suitcases. I use this for high end test equipment. The case is quite heavy even without test equipment, but the case is big. It was very easy and quick to pick up foam rubber to fit the gear. Excellent protection for my frequency counter.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Outstanding bag in the camera and photo department

I use this bag to carry my telescope mount head and accessories when I travel to observing sites. I can honestly say this case is a rock. It will definitely stand up to the abuse at the airport and protect my telescope's gears. It's not cheap, like my telescope gear, and I need a case that can protect it. This is the case.

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • It pisses me off

and i'm sure she will love it. I have used mine a lot

What can I say? This is pelican. I bought it for my fiancee and I'm sure she will love it. I have used mine on many occasions and it has protected my expensive camera and any other gadgets I may have put in the case. I'm not afraid that he will fall into the water or get into other difficult conditions. Last time I used it while fishing in Alaska to protect my camera. It's worth it.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • I have nothing wrong with it everything is fine

The case you think of when someone says "Pelican "

Pelican's durable, sealed cases are one of the best ways to transport your gear and ensure it's safe arrive safely at your destination. working condition. Pick N' Pluck foam inserts allow you to customize the interior of this case to suit your needs. Note that Pelican recommends leaving an inch of foam between pieces of equipment. The only downside to this case is that it's heavy; The suitcase itself weighs about 15 pounds.

Pros
  • Great value for money
Cons
  • Hard to say

Expensive, but almost indestructible

Now I have several dozen cases like this for shipping devices nationwide. This morning I was amazed by one who had over 150 UPS deliveries under his belt. It is in very good condition apart from a few cosmetic scratches. The Pelicans aren't the cheapest hard cases and they're not the lightest, but damn they're tough and do exactly what they're designed to do. Two years later a short update. Now, at the end of 2019, I have 30 more of them. Everyone is still on duty. These are absolute tanks.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • A few errors

win pelican!

If you're wondering if Pelican quality differs from similar or cheaper brands - I can tell you it is! I have cases from a few other companies and none of them can match the Pelican's durability - I haven't tried tossing it off the back of a moving truck, C-130 or anything, but I put it to the test , and he passed with honor. Expert Advice. If you want to prevent the foam from coming loose (which happens when you wear your stuff over and over again) buy some Plasti Dip and apply a good 4-5 coats

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • something different
