Pendleton Sleeve Classic Fit Board Flannel Outdoor Recreation Review

High quality wool shirt. I ordered the Tall XL as a gift for a 6ft 2in person who weighs 225 pounds. The fit was perfect - the sleeves come down about an inch below the wrist and the shirt length comes down to the bottom of the thigh. The fabric is thin, but with good thermal insulation properties of wool. That's not the weight of a jacket, more like an overshirt. The roomy cut allows for easy layering. It has already become his favorite shirt and I highly recommend this product.

My first Pendleton shirt was a red and blue check shirt that I got in the early 1970's. The material is now thinner than I remember (and is now machine washable) but still feels like scratchy wool. This time I went with Original Surf Blue (same as the Beach Boys). It is very well made, warm and looks great. I chose the larger size (M to L) because I like to wear it as an outer layer/lightweight jacket in cooler weather. Although it's a bit pricey, I think it's worth it.
