I bought this for our 18 year old cat who likes to seek out warm places. As she got older, it became harder for her to stay warm. She loved this"apartment"! It doesn't get too hot, just warm. So I didn't have to worry about her getting burned or anything like that. It is easy to assemble, disassemble and very easy to clean! Unfortunately Misty recently passed away. I gave it to my sister for her kittens. When we have new cats I will buy this again!

Bought this for an outdoor cat who moved into our garage. She slept on the kettle but now she thinks this house is the best and it doesn't take a huge leap to get to the heater. It offers enough warmth for south Texas and is easy to clean. I start by scrubbing it and occasionally washing it with soap and water. The flat top is a great idea: I can put my can of Meow Mix in it to toss in the bowls that are just outside the front door.

This item is smaller than in the photo. I have three kittens under a year old so the size is perfect for them at the moment but they still have a lot to grow and it will be interesting to see how they hold up. It looks very attractive and although the kittens completely ignored it for the first few days, they now love it and take turns using it.
