Perfect for my Shadow Spirit

I liked that it came with a new filter as it was all I really needed but still cheaper than buying a new filter at a bike shop.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Negative

It's not worth it. for parts

The old faucet on my Honda Shadow Aero 750 has failed. I bought this and it won't let gas in my bike. Motorcycle will not start due to lack of fuel. Before the change it worked fine.

Pros
  • A bunch of positive emotions
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Looks like a quality replacement

Stock has run out after 13 years and this one appears to be a quality replacement. My old filter broke trying to pull it out. Used a screwdriver and pliers combo and it came out. This one is easy to put on.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not sure

Total waste of time

Installation was easy enough. When we wanted to light it, it kept working. I've been trying to figure out the reasons why it won't start and found that the valve was turned upside down. One was turned off and the reserve didn't work at all. Now I think it's too late to go back.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Could have opted for a newer model

Perfect fit for my 2004 Honda Shadow 750 Aero

The screw on valve arrived in perfect condition along with the fuel filter. Luckily it fits perfectly in my bike's gas tank and hopefully won't leak when I top up with gas. All the valves and hoses point in the right direction for me, which I have not found to be the case with other petcocks listed as fitting my bike.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • No

Great part and easy assembly

Very easy to change, it wasn't the bike I wanted but I also thought my bike was 2007 but it's actually 2004. Haha I only dared that one guy I got it from. Luckily I didn't spend too much on it and persuaded him a lot. BUT, I got it working, it wasn't hard to do. The big line goes straight back, not to the left like the one that was in. But that's not the parts fault, it's my fault so I'm giving 5 stars!

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Minor issues

Nice quality and cheap. Easy to install

Overall looks like a quality build. I checked today and installed today, didn't have time to test it. My bike started straight away with no problems. I'll update my rating if it holds up, but so far it seems good. My original did pretty well, so it's time for a new one. Good value for money, easy installation, no instructions needed. Installation was easy, packaging is great. Do not throw the fuel filter into the gas tank. After carefully unscrewing and pulling out the old faucet, use pliers…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
