I wish I couldn't give this one any stars but it's not an option so I have to give it at least 1. I tried to use this for a spoon my wife fell over the stove. I pressed the plunger and the lips didn't even come out at the end. A complete waste of money. As a mechanic I have had several of these tools and have lost them over the years. I like the length of it but it's useless as it's plastic junk and doesn't work.

My parents always had one with me when I was a kid and I didn't quite understand why. When one of the kids dropped a small toy in the toilet, I understood why. I ordered this after solving this problem in an undesirable way. It's well made and strong, yet flexible. It's easy to control. I've since used it to extract a few things and it's pretty easy to clean. I would say a worthwhile purchase. Get one BEFORE you need it. don't be me

I received the item early and they told me they included free expedited shipping. The shipping order also had a handwritten note about how much they value doing business with customers, which I thought was great! However, the product did not work properly. Full disclosure: I probably tried using it at angles that pushed it to the limit, but the prongs quickly started protruding less and less until they didn't come out at all.
