Have been using these bulbs for outdoor lighting for many years.

I have been using these lamps for outdoor lighting in my shop for many years. They seem to last forever as I leave them on all night, every night!

Pros
  • 2700 Kelvin universal fluorescent lamp is suitable for indoor, commercial and residential use and can be used in ceiling lights and recessed boxes.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

As expected from incandescent lamps

The house I recently moved into uses these bulbs in their wall night lights (this is a retirement community). I've only been here 3 months and have replaced 2 out of 3 night light bulbs in the house so far. I don't know if it was just bad luck or if these bulbs don't last very long. If any of the spare bulbs burn out quickly I will try to replace the lights or upgrade to LED.

Pros
  • This 7W soft white fluorescent lamp from Philips illuminates laundries, bathrooms, kitchens and offices.
Cons
  • Not sure
