low power halogen lamp for work lights. Works as described. Be careful not to touch the bulb. Oils from the skin will shorten the life of the lightbulb.

The light bulb is broken, broken, wrapped.

The filament on the bulb is broken and I haven't even installed it yet. breakage in the packaging. waste of money and time.

Ideal for small halogen work light

Ideal for a small halogen work light! The lamp is ALMOST too expensive to justify - a new retail bulb is about twice the price of an incandescent bulb. Still handy to have. Can't comment on longevity or longevity yet, but a few uses on fishing tackle didn't hurt!
