Found the right size for an old hood. Works perfectly. I only wish they were sold in a pack of 4 as there are four bulbs on the hood!

I didn't need three but I know it's not profitable to sell just one. I've only tried one and it works great. It's as bright as it should be, so no complaints.

I've also found these bulbs to burn out within three to six months, at least some of the packs I've bought. First they dim, then they flicker a little, and after another week or two they go out. This is a manufacturing defect. The inside of the bulb is not completely sealed, gas will enter or escape as they heat up, and this will cause them to fail too quickly. Will be on the lookout for anyone other than Phillips as we proceed.

Great price on branded pears. Many cheaper bulbs don't last as long. I've had these before and have been using them for three years and have just replaced them with this new pack. They are much darker than the ones I had, I will buy lighter ones. Edit: I'm already six months old. Two of the six lightbulbs I installed have already gone out. The other 4 are darker than when first installed.
