Lamp Brightness

Use for Reading. The best light I've found for my lights that only require 60w incandescent bulbs. A 60W lamp uses only 13W and lasts 11 years. More expensive but worth it and yes the bulbs will last at least 10 years.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

Out of 4 lamps, 1 does not work

Package opened (not in box) and all 4 lamps checked. Well a light bulb isn't working so I need a refund or replacement. The problem is that no one will admit to being a salesperson. I think I'm stuck with a dead lightbulb!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Some defects

better than LED: incandescent bulbs

thought I would have done without compact fluorescent bulbs - no - LED lighting looks like "office lighting" to me and incandescent bulbs tend to flicker after a while. These are excellent bulbs, carefully packaged and dispatched promptly. I'm glad they are available from Revain and I plan to order more.

Pros
  • hands-free
Cons
  • not trendy

Perfect so far! See rice!

I used to buy only these "Daylight" bulbs, but apparently I'm very tired of them. Now I prefer these "Soft White" bulbs. Of course, these bulbs sometimes take a minute or two to warm up to full brightness, but I don't care. The alternative is far worse in my opinion: I had a bad experience buying CFLs at a local big store. They make lightbulbs with a halogen "start" bulb so they're "instant on" or something. But the problem is that after the CFL part has warmed up properly, the smaller halogen…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

One of the four is broken

The package came with a broken bulb. I'm glad I opened the other end of the packaging so I didn't cut myself. The only bulb I put in my lamp works perfectly. I will not return. Onions were needed but can no longer be found due to the ongoing quarantine.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • something else

That's a lightbulb. Reliable.

Leaving a review on an LED lamp is like pulling a tooth. Unkind. However, since I have to kill time this morning, I will. I bought this brand and this particular bulb because it is a reliable, long lasting bulb that will last for years and gives enough brightness without giving the impression that you live in a hospital. So in the end something nice.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

The best CFLs I've ever bought!

These 23 watt Philips bulbs are hands down the best compact fluorescent bulbs I've ever bought! What I like about them is that they turn on instantly with the flick of a switch, just like incandescent bulbs. They also seem to warm up to full brightness fairly quickly (within seconds) and the luminous intensity is identical to what incandescent bulbs look like. I found that with other CFLs the light output was a little warmer and dimmer than a 100 watt incandescent, typically turning on even…

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • No automatic
