Description of 🌙 Enhance Nighttime Visibility with Philips H7 CrystalVision Ultra Headlight Bulbs, 2 Pack

Get the bright white light look. Choose Philips CrystalVision ultra headlight bulbs for the look of HID and get bright white light on the road. A unique blue cap on the bulb creates a cool blue effect in the headlamp’s reflector in daytime. Original equipment quality seal for the most reliable performance. Always replace in pairs to ensure a symmetric light beam from both bulbs on the road. Headlights dim over time.

Both blown in 6 months

UPDATED REVIEW. FIRST THEY WERE BIG, BUT 6 MONTHS LATER, NOTHING WAS ZERO BURNED. I AM VERY LOVED WITH THIS PRODUCT, DEFINITELY NOT REGULAR QUALITY PHILLIPS. Very bright and great price compared to local auto parts store, will buy again

Not legal in the US. For use in Japan only.

I don't know what's going on here. Bought H7 for my Mercedes and got these bulbs. The back of the box says they are not for use on public roads except Japan and the bottom of the bulb says they are not for use in Europe/USA while the Revain description is DOT- compliant, ie the US Department says. What's the matter Phillips?

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • High price

Brighter than OEM but only slightly

Bought these to replace a blown headlight bulb on my 2012 Subaru Legacy and they work great! The installation process for the Legacy is insane and takes a while as you have to get through the wheel arch and a small hole to get to the bulb. The passenger side low beam bulb was blown so I replaced both bulbs in about 45 minutes. There is a noticeable difference in the whiter color of the new bulbs compared to the OEM, but they are only slightly lighter than the OEM. Hopefully they'll last as long

Pros
  • Very good value

$20 well spent on bulbs and lighting accessories

I was very hesitant to buy these for my 2006 Subaru Impreza based on the negative reviews but gave it a try anyway. They definitely look whiter than the originals and definitely lighter. I figured they would fit in place of the LED bulbs I plan to get later. For those who leave negative feedback, please remember it is ONLY $20. Don't expect them to light up the woods and be on par with LEDs because they aren't, BUT they are a good and cheap replacement for them if you want whiter light in your…

Big improvement easy to install on 2005 Subaru Outback

They fit perfect and easy to install on my 2005 Subaru Outback 3.0 LL Bean Edition. If your headlights are burnt out or dim, this is a really quick and easy job that makes a world of difference. I don't know how long it took but one of my headlights blew out so I replaced both which is recommended. The light they give off is much brighter and whiter than my last bulbs. I know they're only meant to be OEM quality (no 'upgrades' like the brighter options or LED options here), but they seem like…

Pros
  • Excellent overall specs

  • Some imperfections

Subaru Outback 6 months old and counting.

2010 Subaru Outback eats Sylvania headlights every 6 months or less. Changing the headlights on my Subaru is a real hassle. I ride at night 5 to 7 nights a week so I use headlights a lot. I've tried the top two tiers of Sylvania headlights and they both die quickly. The Philips H7 X-tremeblahblah is about as bright and clear as a level 2 Sylvania fixture. I changed a fixture so you can compare. I hope the Philips lamp lasts a long time. I will update my review over time. Update: My passenger…

Better than standard bulbs but doesn't last long

I think a lot of people complain about the longevity of these bulbs. I bought them in November 2018 and now in May 2020. I guess it's not that bad, but consider this: I drive in the dark maybe twice a week on average. So let's say I drive in the dark 8 times a month. 2 of them I drive about 45 minutes (to visit my parents) one way as I usually go there in the morning. The rest, 6, I go to the grocery store, pick up an order, a date, etc., just the usual nightly things about 20 minutes, more or…
