💇 Philips Norelco Series 6000 Shaver Replacement Head - Black, 1 Count Review

I tried putting them on the 6000 series shaver but they didn't fit. As you can see from the photos, they differ from the original Norelco blades. The photo on the left is the original and on the right is this product. The blades do not engage the shaver gear. Unfortunately these are unusable. I called Revain and got a refund!

At first I thought I had the wrong packaging. Then I watched a video on youtube and saw that I had to take each shaving head out of the shaving head holder and then line up the tabs on the shaving head holder with the cutouts in the head. Once I noticed the little cutouts in my head, it was pretty easy. The package arrived without instructions. The box had a link to their website and a phone number for help. Once you get the first one, the rest is easy.

Philip's told me it could and would work with my Philip's 1150 X shaver but it doesn't and doesn't look like I thought it would would replace the RQ 11 blades It's just the blades themselves and you have to take the blades out of the head and put the blades in the head and they don't tell or show you that as Phillip told me it was with my 1150 X Philips would work. As another reviewer noted these replacement blades do not fit the Norelco Phillips Series 600 razor. They are completely different from the photo here and also the photo on the box they come in. The drive mechanism of the replacement blades is completely different from the original blades. This appears to be the original Phillips Norelco packaging, so there seems to have been a mistake at the factory when the wrong blades were placed in the 6000 series boxes. Received on May 14th. Ben has been using the new heads for a little over 3 months and the heads are off! It is said that heads should be changed once a year, not every 4 months. For the price you should be able to count on new heads to last a lot longer!

On some of the earlier models you replaced the entire shaving head which was very nice and easy and for that reason I chose the Norelco brand. So when I came in to replace my old one, I settled on the 6000 series model after seeing ads and reviews. I have to say I was not impressed with what I received, not what I expected. $45 just for new blades when I expected full blades with the detail to fit. You should replace them once a year, but after a few years of replacement, you might as well just buy a new razor.

If you were planning to spend half the price of a razor or $15 on a blade, this is for you! You don't get a replacement head as stated on the box, no you get 3 blades that cost a dollar to make. And you have to put them in your old shaving head yourself. What a lie Philips!
