These bulbs fit Porsche 986 Boxster S and 718 Cayman. Make sure the polarity is correct, otherwise the LED will not emit light (they are diodes). The 718 had a bulb in the trunk (trunk in front). Very good LED replacement for the white 194 bulb. BUT the bulbs were causing the 'License Plate Lights Off' message on the DIC on my 2015 RAM 3500 truck. The error message is automatically deleted and I'm curious to see if it comes back. It seems that the relevant computer needs to monitor this circuit for either the correct bulb filament resistance or the appropriate current draw. Also, this 194 LED light is noticeably brighter and much whiter than the 194 incandescent bulbs it replaces…

I installed the bulbs in the car without any problems, after all it's 50/50 to get it right the first time. That's the only good thing I can say about the lamps. I don't know why they list "intense amber" and the box I received only says "amber" which I will upload to confirm my review. In terms of brightness, they don't appear to be any brighter than the standard halogen bulbs I've replaced and so not only will I be returning them for lack of brightness, but also for misleading product photos…

These bulbs are PERFECT! I've spent a lot of money on various websites over the past 6 months trying out the cheap name brand LEDs that you can get for a dollar each and let me tell you they've never worked well. I have a Silverado 05 with headlights that are perfect for the old halogen bulbs. The "super bright" LEDs I've tried (you know, the ones with a million little chips sticking out) never fit because the lamp base is much wider than a standard halogen 194.
