I thought it was a waste of money when I received the product because the .

Every winter I get worried when I get my plants out of the cold. I don't have enough space in the house with enough light for my plants and they hardly survive the winter with little light. At the moment my plants seem healthy and even grow with extra lighting. I leave the light on for about 6 hours during the day, seems good enough. The temperature of this "full spectrum" light should be around 5000K unless you want red (2700K, good for flowering) or blue (6500K, good for general growth). Using these lights on my seedlings resulted in some becoming leggy and some scrawny, so I ordered another light with a "fuller" spectrum for the health of my plants. In…

Ideal for winter houseplants

I bought two of these bulbs to grow from Revain for $5 each which is about half what they sell at my local Garden shops cost . I originally bought them to provide my houseplants with enough light during the dreary winter months. I planted some seeds a few weeks ago and they grew very quickly but were "leggy". After my gardening friend sent me the information, I realized the problem was the seedlings reaching for my grow light, which I turned on at the overhead light (as there wasn't enough…
