I don't know what some of the others are saying about having to cut some of this off. I haven't had this problem. All cuts were a perfect fit. I unpacked everything, took everything off and aligned everything, no problems. Adhesion is great!

Just the right size for my phone but the adhesive didn't cut all the way through. So I wasted both sheets and just used the tape that came in my repair kit. If it could be fully cropped it would be great and my phone would probably still be mostly waterproof. In this case, use a utility knife or other blade to pry out the center and all other parts before removing a cover.

As described, we received two adhesive frames. We evaluated the second option as there's always a chance of something going wrong, resulting in a second one while the phone is still open (we've obviously done this before). Unfortunately, one of the frames was open and the back ripped off, rendering it unusable. Luckily, the second one wasn't necessary this time, but if it were, we'd be in a big quandary. Sellers, please carefully check the inventory that will be returned to you!

This material was very tacky, similar to the factory material used in the original assembly. One of my gripes with this is the lack of screen cutouts for connecting to the motherboard, although the X-acto knife did the trick. Align everything well and be careful not to accidentally touch the screen with glue or anything else that could get you in trouble. All in all a good buy, let's see if my phone is still waterproof or the adhesive condition will be updated in the future.

When I replaced my Pixel 2XL's battery with the iFixit kit, the supplied adhesive slipped off the plastic and stuck to the box it came in rendering the adhesive unusable. It was the most cost effective alternative I could find in a short period of time.
