I expected slightly better quality. Got these for my 4 year old granddaughter to wear under a ski helmet so the thickness was fine. But they are big. But she likes her, so I let her.

I'll update my review once my boys can wear them out in the cold. I'm giving it four stars now because it's soft and feels very thick.

Well I should have seen from the price that they are not of excellent quality. You are very thin. Like felt. I'm not sure how warm they will be, but I think I can throw on a warm military band if it's too cold. They are good because they don't fall off while the girls are playing outside. They fit my girls 5 and 3 very well and are easy to put on and take off. I think they're good for the money. But if I had seen them live before buying, I would not have bought.
