Not 10 feet. Not even close.

Although I read reviews before purchasing, I was a little disappointed that the cord is actually less than 10 feet. The actual length of the cord is 135mm before it is coiled. When rolled it measures approximately 28 inches. If you stretch it past 36 inches, it easily fits over a weighted, lightweight stand. Maybe the seller should change the product description.

Pros
  • The cable length is approximately 10 feet 3.6 meters. The cable is twisted and has a practical length of less than 10 meters.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Too short in Camera & Photo

As the previous reviewer said, it's nowhere near 12 feet long. Rolled up and not stretched at all, mine was about 55cm (about 21 inches). When you try to stretch it, it's quite stiff, so if you stretch it about 47 inches (1.2 m), it creates a lot of resistance. This probably means that if you mount the flash on a tripod and stretch it out to about 1m, then either the camera tripod or the flash stand will be dragged, which is not good. TTL seems to work well internally (tried with SB-900 and…

Pros
  • Make sure you install the cable correctly (see product images)
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Inexpensive functional TTL cable for Nikon

I was looking for a short, twisted and, above all, inexpensive TTL cable for my Nikon D800 and SB-700 flash. The reviews for this product were mixed when I bought it, but now that I've received it I'm definitely happy with my purchase. The side camera port has a screw lock nut that secures the connection to the top of your device. Camera so it doesn't come off and fly in someone's face. The connector on the side of the flash *NOT* has a lock nut as it normally does. The Nikon SB series has a…

Pros
  • . Compatible with Nikon Speedlights and Nikon flashes from other manufacturers.
Cons
  • Big and chunky
