I sew a lot so these are easy for me to work with. These are regular jeans, not bulky jeans, no padding. So if you put a hot plate on them, they won't protect your table. I was very surprised after receiving them that no one commented on their lightness in the review. However, I really like them and they were cheap, so I bought soft napkins from Big Lots that I can easily sew onto the back. If you want heavier wipes and don't want to put in a little extra effort, you might not like these.
