Jars are 1/2 ounce shorter than pictured which should show 1 ounce. That's what I needed, they hold semi-tight and the lids are really functional.

Overall I'm happy with the quality of these cans but was a bit disappointed with their height. Half the height of the glass is wasted space, which is inconvenient because I specifically bought them to be small to take up minimal space when traveling or storing in my purse.

What is not clear in the product description is that these cans are more than 2x higher than needed. The actual part of the can is located high up inside the barrel, which makes the filled can feel a bit heavy. Banks are well trained and well closed. I use a few glue holders to avoid using an open quart can during use times.

I love these. I bought these because my favorite body and bath company had a Make Your Own Fragrance event with perfume oil and I wanted to make my own lotions out of it. They fit perfectly in my purse and are great for using up to 10+ hand lotions depending on how frugal you are! In case you're wondering, they're about the size of a ping pong ball.
