Too loose to hold LEDs

Used them on a small project yesterday. The LEDs do not stay in these sockets at all. I ended up gluing them with a hot glue gun to fix the problem. It's ok for prototypes in a pinch, but I wouldn't recommend them.

Holds LED position

You are excellent and you solved a technical problem for me. They hold the LED in a very tight, fixed position, allowing the LED to be reliably aimed at a specific surface to illuminate it. Maybe not necessary for every application, but it was important for mine.

Bad seconds - many of them don't work

Some work, some are great. Some aren't. I received a whole batch of poor quality. Maybe a marriage from the factory that makes them, but it's hard to figure out until they're installed, then when pressed the LED will slip past the faulty locks and disappear inside.
